Optional add-on
Ritual, over MCP.
Ask what’s on today, what you’ve been putting off, or how a habit has really been going — and add or finish tasks just by asking.
Ritual Cloud connects your tasks and habits over MCP. Your iCloud sync keeps working either way — subscribed or not, signed in or not.
Ask about your day
Today, upcoming, overdue, projects, tags — answered from your real tasks.
Add and complete tasks by asking
Capture something mid-conversation without opening the app.
See how habits are actually going
Check-in history over any stretch, not just the current view.
Your data on Ritual's own server
Kept alongside iCloud, never instead of it.
It is not sync
Keeping your iPhone and iPad in step is iCloud. That is free, it is already part of Ritual, and it keeps working whether or not you subscribe. Ritual Cloud adds MCP access; it doesn’t replace anything.
How to turn it on
- Subscribe in the app, under Settings → Ritual Cloud.
- Sign in with Apple, which links your subscription to your Ritual Cloud account. Until you do, MCP access stays switched off.
- Copy the MCP endpoint from the same screen —
https://api.ritual.from81.app/mcp— and add it to any MCP client that supports remote servers. It opens a browser to sign you in; there’s no key to paste.
Once it’s connected, what you can ask lists everything it can do — and everything it can change.
Any client that speaks MCP
Ritual Cloud is a plain Streamable HTTP MCP server. It isn’t tied to one vendor or one assistant — anything that supports remote MCP servers can connect to it.
What it costs
An auto-renewing monthly subscription, sold and billed by Apple. The price for your storefront — and any introductory offer you’re eligible for — is shown in the app before you subscribe. It renews at the same price each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it any time from Manage Subscription in the app, or in your Apple subscription settings. See the terms for the rest.
This is separate from Ritual Premium, the one-time unlock for unlimited habits and tasks. Premium is still a single purchase with no subscription; Ritual Cloud is the only subscription Ritual has, and nothing in the app requires it.
What we store
For a question to be answered, the answer has to be somewhere we can read. While you’re subscribed and signed in, Ritual uploads a copy of your tasks, habits, projects, tags and check-ins — titles and notes included — to our server, and keeps it up to date as you change things. Nobody else can read it, we don’t sell it or mine it, and deleting your account deletes every copy of it. If you never subscribe, none of this happens and nothing is uploaded. The privacy policy spells it out.
Requirements
iPhone on iOS 26 or later, and the current version of Ritual from the App Store.
